02

From a clear idea to a finished cut.

A good short video needs one clear message and a sequence that supports it. The public editor helps you assemble footage you already own. You choose the creative decisions; the browser joins the selected clips and renders the result.

  1. 01

    Set the brief

Write down the audience, the main message and the next action. Keep the scope small: one product benefit, one moment or one explanation. This brief is your guide while you edit; the public editor does not yet interpret it or create footage from it.

  2. 02

    Bring your footage

Import a few video clips from your device. The editor checks their duration and whether the browser can play them. Choose footage with enough visual detail for your intended aspect ratio, and keep the complete project within the file and duration limits.

  3. 03

    Shape the sequence

Set the start and end of each clip, then put the clips in the order you want. Add a manually written caption where the message needs it. A simple opening, demonstration and closing often makes the sequence easier to follow than a collection of unrelated moments.

  4. 04

    Preview and export

Check the trims, caption spelling and framing before you export. Choose landscape, portrait or square. Keep source audio when browser capture supports it, or select a silent export. The editor produces one WebM file, ready for your own review and destination compatibility check.

A small workflow with a clear purpose.

Local assembly and a full timeline suit different jobs. This comparison describes workflow choices rather than a benchmark against a named competitor. Choose the compact path for a straightforward short cut; choose a fuller editing environment when the project needs more controls.

What does a video agent do?

A video agent takes a goal and helps coordinate the steps between that goal and a video. The useful part is continuity: the audience, message and creative choices should carry through the sequence instead of being lost between separate tasks. A written brief can describe the subject, tone, target length, destination and call to action.

The public Klipzo release currently covers local clip assembly. It does not automatically select meaningful moments, transcribe speech, find b-roll or invent a finished video from a sentence. The brief-led experience is a private preview, with availability stated before you try it. That distinction lets you choose a workflow based on what you can actually do today.

Make the first version easy to review.

A first version should answer a practical question: does this sequence communicate the idea? You do not need to add every shot. Start with a few clips, remove the pause before the action and trim the ending after the point lands. Watch the export once without relying on the caption, then once with the sound off.

For a product video, show the product in use before listing features. For a short explanation, keep the words close to the action they describe. Portrait and square framing can change what remains visible, so inspect the preview after choosing the shape. Keep important text away from the edges and leave room for the destination platform’s interface.

04

A few things before your first cut.

What is an AI video agent?

An AI video agent is a workflow that uses a goal or brief to coordinate video creation tasks. Klipzo is building that experience in private preview. Its public local editor already lets you trim, order and combine existing footage, add manually entered captions and export a short video from your browser.

Is Klipzo free?

The local editor is free, with no signup, subscription or credit purchase required. You can use up to 12 clips within the stated project limits and export WebM at up to 720p. Public AI generation and paid generation plans have not launched, so no generation price or free AI allowance is promised.

How long does a video take to export?

The local editor renders in real time in your browser. A longer sequence generally takes longer to export, and your device, source files and browser affect completion. The maximum finished length is 120 seconds. Keep the tab open during rendering; the interface reports progress and tells you when the file is ready.

Does Klipzo automatically add captions or b-roll?

The current public editor burns in caption text that you enter manually. It does not transcribe speech, translate captions or search for b-roll. You supply the footage and choose the trims and order. Brief-led AI creation remains in private preview; its public capabilities will be listed when they are available.
